His love for origins did not diminish rather increased. The theme of his dissertation dealt with the origin of modern empirical science in western Christian culture and the cause for science to abandon its faith-based Christian roots. Part of the dissertation project was to write and present a seminar on the origins and development of evolutionary theory in contrast to biblical creationism. He is co-host of nationally-syndicated LifeTalk Radio’s “Sink the Beagle,” a lighthearted look at the subject of creationism and evolutionism.

Since then, Dr. Kurlinski has taught at Union College in Lincoln, NE where he co-taught the Origins class with both the biology and chemistry faculty as well as biblical studies, and worldview theory. He currently pastor’s the Bremerton Seventh-day Adventist Church but occasionally conducts seminars on Origins and Worldview theory upon request from various conferences and churches. He is married to Barbara, a registered dietician and friend of Cindy Hudson, and they have two children: Brad (a hospital chaplain) and Emily (a viola performance graduate student).
